Playing off of April's inordinate success and learning from the unexpected challenges of a too-successful event, Deep Ellum Food Truck Rally returns on Friday, June 22 bigger, more diverse and full of surprises. Though the Rally's last attempt got a little out of hand, Teresa Gubbins reports that, when it came to lines and crowds, this week's event promises smooth sailing with more efficient strategies and additional options, some of which kept on truckin' right in from Fort Worth. The event kicks off at 6 p.m., and organizer Brandon Castillo says the best expected side-effect means a continued influx into rapidly revitalizing Deep Ellum. [Pegasus News]
