Hungry for History

joets150.jpgJoe T. Garcia's will celebrate nearly 80 years of TexMex success with a special "1930s 'til Today" dinner on Monday, June 25 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Fort Worth. In partnership with Foodways Texas, "a University of Texas-backed organization studying the state's food history and culture," chefs will recreate classic plates including "lemon sole and rack of lamb along with beef brisket in a pasilla chile sauce and pork ribs adobo." Seating is limited to 200, and tickets can be purchased for $45 here. [DFW.com]
