Craft to Close on Sept. 15; Cook Hall Coming in Nov.

Tom Colicchio's fine dining spot Craft was originally scheduled to close at the end of the summer, and today Pegasus News reports that the final day will be September 15. Its replacement, the casual Cook Hall will make its debut on November 7.

The cocktail program of the new restaurant will be headed up by acclaimed New York wine maven Belinda Chang, formerly of The Modern and The Monkey Bar, and the bar will feature beer poured from vintage taps, "boutique" wines, and daily cocktail specials. There will also be Cook Hall Cocktail kits, for two to 10 people, which will include an alcohol plus "tinctures and mixers to develop unique custom cocktails tableside and a recipe card to take home." The food will be more casual and more affordable than what was served at Craft, including tacos, flatbreads, and sandwiches. Stay tuned for more as the opening approaches.
