Brian Luscher Cooks at Bolsa Mercado; The Mercury Goes to the Dogs

OAK CLIFF— Today's "Dinner for Two" take-out meal at Bolsa Mercado was cooked by none other than The Grape's Brian Luscher. The menu includes dry-rubbed local flank steak, roasted yams with goat feta, and black plum butter cake; proceeds will go to Cafe Momentum. Bolsa Mercado is open until 9 p.m. [SideDish]

CITYWIDE— Food tour group Dallas Bites will host a pizza crawl on September 1 from 2:15 to 5:15 p.m. Tour stops will include Dough Pizzeria Napoletana, Fireside Pies, and Pizza By Marco, and beer will be served on-board the tour bus between stops. PRESTON HOLLOW— Executive chef Chris Ward will host a cooking class at The Mercury on September 29 from 2-5p.m. to benefit the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas.
