Chef Jason Boso (best known for his chain Twisted Root Burger Co.—you know, the one that gives discounts for nice butts) is closing Cowboy Chow in Roanoke to replace it with a new concept, Tacos & Avocados. According to a staff member, Cowboy Chow will close September 8 and should reopen later in the month after extensive renovations. (City folk may remember the Cowboy Chow in Deep Ellum, which closed back in May of last year and was replaced with a Buzzbrews.) [Entree Dallas]
