Dallas BBQ Blogger to Appear on No Reservations

Anthony Bourdain's hit Travel Channel show No Reservations will premiere the last half of its eighth and final season on September 3. The upcoming episode takes place in Austin atFranklin Barbecue and will feature Dallas's own Daniel Vaughn, the blogger turned author behind Full Custom Gospel BBQ. (One should expect the episode to focus heavily on, oh we don't know, barbecue?)

Bourdain has previously dubbed Vaughn "the Yoda of Barbecue" for either his sage wisdom or pointy ears. Vaughn's forthcoming book, titled Prophets of Smoked Meat is scheduled for Spring 2013 and will be published under Bourdain's new HarperCollins line.
