Oak, Woodshed Nominated 'Best New Restaurants 2012'

Bon Appétit Magazine has announced its 50 nominees for "Best New Restaurant 2012," and DFW makes the cut twice.

In Dallas, it's Oak Lawn's aptly named Oak which serves upscale and worldly dishes under Chef Jason Maddy (formerly of Mansion on Turtle Creek). Oak first opened in January and quickly received over-the-top reviews from both D Mag and the DMN.

In Fort Worth, Chef Tim Love's Woodshed Smokehouse earned a nomination, either for its exquisite BBQ or for being "the manliest restaurant" in town.
