Chef David McMillan Has Quietly Taken the Reins at the Meddlesome Moth

According to an Eater tipster, David McMillan of the recently closed Screen Door has assumed control of the kitchen at Design District gastropub the Meddlesome Moth. McMillan stepped to oversee operations about two weeks ago after the departure of the last chef, Nick Amoriello. General manager Wes Helms confirms the news, saying that McMillan is indeed the chef "for now". Watch for menu changes coming soon.

McMillan is also rumored to be assisting Moth owner Shannon Wynne with his upcoming venture Lark, which will overlook Klyde Warren Park, the new green space being constructed downtown over Woodall Rogers Freeway.
