JoJo Approved for Liquor License, Now Hiring

Looks like JoJo Eating House & Bar, the new "pan-Mediterranean" restaurant from French chef Laurent Poupart and design firm Plan B Group that broke ground back in June, will be opening soon. (Or soonish, anyway.) According to the TABC's public records, JoJo's liquor license was issued yesterday, and today they've posted an open call for staff on Craigslist. This will be Poupart's first Dallas venture; he cut his teeth in NYC kitchens but has worked as a private chef in the area for the past five years. JoJo will be located at 2626 Howell Street in the space formerly occupied by Bella, which closed nearly two years ago.
