Max's Wine Dive Opens Tonight in Uptown

Max's Wine Dive, the new West Village upscale comfort food spot offering fried chicken and foie gras sliders alongside Dom Perignon by the glass, opens at 4 p.m. and the blogosphere is buzzing with sneak peeks inside the walls that used to house a Borders bookstore.

Expect 150-plus wines also available for retail sale and bar seating that looks into an open kitchen, as well as an Enomatic machine that helps protect opened bottles of wine from oxidation.
