New Brunch at Five Sixty; The City's Best Patios

DOWNTOWN—Illustrious Austrian Wolfgang Puck's Five Sixty is offering a new dim sum brunch menu. A selection of small plates like lacquered duckling steamed buns and day boat scallops with bacon dashi are available a la carte or in groups of five ($32) or eight ($42). The midday drink menu has also received a makeover; weekend diners can now sip a Texas Mary with beef jerky or a Mango Mimosa. [Eaterwire]

CITYWIDE—According to the weatherman, it's gonna be a gorgeous weekend. Scott Reitz's got you covered with a list of the top ten patios in town to eat, drink, and soak up some late summer breezes. [City of Ate]

LOWER GREENVILLE—The Grape will be closed this Saturday for a private event. Devotees of Chef Brian Luscher's cooking will have to wait until Sunday--which is, coincidentally, one of the only days diners have the option of ordering what Texas Monthly declared to be the best burger in the state.
