Sharon Hage is a busy woman. The former York Street chef has recently lent her culinary talents to Bowl & Barrel, Blue Mesa, and Sunset Lounge, and will also collaborate on the menu at upcoming Backyard Beach Bar replacement The Lot; now, word comes via a press release that she will also be responsible for the food at The Rustic, a new restaurant-slash-live music venue from a team that includes Bowl & Barrel backers FreeRange Concepts and musician Pat Green.

According to the press release, The Rustic will showcase local products and feature "the largest selection of Texas beers found anywhere." Besides the restaurant, which will be open seven days a week, the space at the corner of Lemmon Avenue and North Central Expressway will feature a massive patio-slash-backyard for both dining and live music. Look for the Rustic to debut sometime this spring.
