20 Feet Seafood Joint, the long-awaited new East Dallas restaurant from longtime Dallas chef Marc Cassel, is now open on Peavy Road near Goodfriend and Good2Go Taco. D Magazine editor Tim Rogers checked out the new spot and while he failed to find any "narwhal foie gras nachos" (darn), he did find a varied menu that included expected items like clam chowder, mussels, and a New England lobster roll, plus some less expected and more porcine delights like a pork belly banh mi and pork ramen noodles—perhaps a worthy experiment for those eagerly awaiting the arrival of Tanoshi.

According to Rogers, it's an order-at-the-counter affair, and 20 Feet doesn't have a liquor license just yet, so be prepared to teetotal the night away (or head next door to Goodfriend).
