The Lot, the indoor/outdoor American restaurant and bar concept going into the old Backyard Beach Bar space in East Dallas, is currently under construction and is slated to open February 25, according to managing partner John McBride. (For anyone seeking employment, they're now hiring servers and hostesses.) The Lot will feature a menu created by former York Street chef Sharon Hage and design by Hatsumi Kuzuu, who's responsible for the Zen-like vibe at Tei-An.
