Food Truck News, From Sushi to Schnitzel

2013 is shaping up to be another tumultuous period of growth for the city's mobile eatery scene. Some food truck happenings since the first of the year:

1) Fort Worth's Bento Box truck has folded, and will instead focus on their catering biz. [DMN]

2) The Potato-Potahto truck, which specialized in massive baked potatoes topped with everything from chicken-fried steak to brisket, has ceased operations. [SideDish]

3) Deep Ellum's Epic Cones will soon take their pizza cones mobile with a mini-vehicle. [DFW Food Truck Foodie]

4) Lee's Grilled Cheese expanded with a brick & mortar location in Fort Worth; the store offers sandwiches with nine different choices of cheese, plus extras from avocado to pulled pork. [Thrillist]

6) The SMU campus is being served by a new truck called the The Snackin' Wagin', providing hungry students with everything from coffee and pastries to sandwiches and "puppy therapy". [DFW Food Truck Foodie/Facebook]
