Deep Ellum Brewing Company is catching some flak for its "troubling use of rape culture in advertising." Texas politics blogger Genevieve Cato takes issue with DEBC's new hot pink van that promotes their Dallas Blonde brew with the slogan "Goes down easy." As Cato points out, "This is not the first time this tired, sexist pun has been used to sell alcohol and it probably won't be the last" (vodka maker Belvedere produced an incredibly offensive ad with a similar slogan back in 2012).
