Pan-Asian Oishii Rises From the Ashes and Reopens

Oishii on Wycliff Avenue near the Dallas North Tollway is finally open once more after shuttering way back in December due to a fire. (The fire also damaged neighbor Sal's Pizza, but the damage there was much less extensive, and the pizzeria reopened shortly after in January.)

The pan-Asian menu globe-trots all over the East, with everything from pho to kung pao chicken, plus hot pots, Peking duck, potstickers, miso soup and an extensive menu of sashimi and sushi rolls.

Anyone who's been eagerly awaiting the return of Oishii's popular dollar sushi night on Tuesdays might be slightly disappointed, though — that promotion is no more. (The restaurant is still offering half-price wine on Wednesday nights, though.)

Oishii is open Monday through Friday for lunch and dinner (it's closed from 3 to 5 p.m.), Saturday straight through from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday for dinner only from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
