Lower Greenville Gentrification

Are Lower Greenville's nightlife days over? The recent closure of long-standing club Zubar was apparently due to the fact that Andres Property Company, which owns much of the commercial real estate in the area, insisted that the club ought to close at midnight rather than 2 a.m. Now, rather than clubs and bars, the developer is seeking businesses like Pilates studios and Crossfit gyms as part of an attempt to rebrand the area as "a more walkable, urban neighborhood."
