Hangover Power Hour

corpsereviverflickr.jpgCorpse Reviver #2 might seem like a bizarre or Halloween-esque name for a cocktail, but the name actually references it's intended purpose to cure a hangover. Containing gin, Lillet Blanc, Cointreau, lemon, and just a hint of absinthe, it was probably invented sometime in the early 1900s but has enjoyed a recent surge in popularity thanks to the craft cocktail revolution. Any bartender well-versed in the classics should be able to make one, but we've enjoyed stellar versions at Victor Tangos, FT33 and Whiskey Cake.
