Basque Sunday Supper; Free Champagne Tasting

FORT WORTH—Recently opened tapas spot Sera will offer its Sunday supper again this weekend with a four-course family-style "traditional Basque Country Cider House menu" that includes tortilla de bacalao and bone-in ribeye; seats are $45 with seatings from 4 to 8 p.m. (Since the restaurant is still awaiting its TABC permit, it's BYOB for now with no corkage fee.) Reservations are recommended; call 817-927-SERA. [Eaterwire]

DEEP ELLUM—Chef Ryan Barnett is hosting a four-course French-inspired dinner next Thursday, November 21 beginning at 7 p.m. As these things usually are, it's BYOB, but each guest will also get a "free" bottle of Beaujolais. Seats are $65 including tax and tip, and courses will include a pumpkin veloute with pecan creme fraiche and coq au vin made with heritage chicken. Email Barnett to reserve. [Eaterwire]

PARK CITIES—Pogo's Wine & Spirits in Inwood Village is hosting its second annual Champagne Festival from 3-5 p.m. this Saturday. Sample more than a dozen varieties of Champagne for free (plus fruit and cheese) including Dom Perignon, Pol Roger, 2004 Veuve Clicquot and more. [Eaterwire]
