The college town of Denton is known for having a burgeoning indie music scene, so it makes sense that its new burger joint would have a musical focus: LSA Burger Co. debuted yesterday near the town square with a rooftop bar, burgers named after legendary Texas musicians, craft beer, a piano key staircase and a literal shrine to Willie Nelson.
LSA stands for "Lone Star Attitude", a notion that's reflected in both the kitschy decor (see: the giant state of Texas constructed from guitars) and the menu, with burgers like the classic Waylon and the Los Lonely with green chiles and pepper jack; there's also the Dixie Chick-sen sandwich, described on the menu as "a politically incorrect, but very juicy, experience."
