Dude, Sweet Chocolate Invades Lower Greenville

Tatted up chocolate obsessive (and one-time Stephan Pyles pastry chef) Katherine Clapner has once more expanded her chocolate empire: Dude, Sweet Chocolate just opened a small storefront on Lower Greenville Avenue, a couple doors down from drunk-eats destination Greenville Avenue Pizza Company.

Dude, Sweet opened a Preston Center location late last year, but that was merely a temporary holiday outpost; the Lower Greenville spot is intended to be permanent. (There's also a location in Fort Worth's West 7th district.) Expect all the (unusual) usual offerings like Crack in a Box, Chubby Nuts, gift-boxed chocolate assortments and chocolate "salami."

According to City of Ate, "the hours at the Greenville Ave. store are Sunday and Monday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.," making it an ideal spot to pop in for a post-dinner (or post-drinking) treat.
