Miss Chi Vietnamese Coming to Preston Center

The restaurant boom at Preston Center continues: A fresh neon sign reading "Miss Chi Vietnamese" has just been hoisted above the space that once housed Wicked Po Boys.

Miss Chi is a new venture from husband-and-wife team Joey and Chi Le, who of course are also behind Deep Ellum's buzzing Tanoshii Ramen. The duo's first restaurant venture was Wicked Po Boys, which they opened back in summer 2012 in Richardson, but a second Preston Center location was seemingly less successful, opening in April and shutting down in August for "remodeling."

A rumor quickly followed that the spot would transform into a Vietnamese restaurant, but the Le's PR team remained tight-lipped — though the proverbial cat is pretty much out of the bag with the arrival of the new sign.
