Where to Eat at Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL)

Sometimes we get lucky and get to fly out of municipal airport Dallas Love Field, that oh-so-conveniently located but relatively tiny airport located in Northwest Dallas. Love Field's seen plenty of improvements lately, including several new dining options, so here's a quick guide to what's on the menu when travelling through Dallas' other airport. (Stay tuned for more new additions in 2014, including a branch of local gelato chain Paciugo.)

Stem

· Cru Wine Bar: an extensive selection of wine (by the glass or bottle) and wine-worthy snacks
· Dunkin Donuts [pre-security]
· Sky Canyon: Texan and international cuisine from legendary chef Stephan Pyles, plus desserts, a martini and margarita bar, wine and beer [upper level]

· Texpress Gourmet: grab-and-go items including sandwiches from Jason's Deli

Concessions Village

· Campisi's: the family-owned joint's signature thin-crust pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and desserts
· Cool River Cafe: Upscale steaks and seafood
· Dickey's Barbecue: a mini version of the Dallas-based megachain
· Manchu Wok: "Asian" fast food
· Moe's Southwest Grill: Fast-casual, built-to-order burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, salads
· Whataburger: the first airport location of the beloved Texas burger joint.

· Cantina Laredo: upscale Mexican including tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas, with a full bar plus a to-go counter. [Gate 6]
