Can you even think of 23 different salad dressings? We certainly can't, but the folks behind Lower Greenville's new Crisp Salad Company did.

The new destined-to-be-hot lunch spot located between Teppo and Char Bar opened today just in time for all those post-Thanksgiving diets, giving patrons the option of choosing a pre-designed salad from varieties like the oh-so-trendy Killer Kale with quinoa and walnuts, or the Street Taco with spicy chicken, grilled sweet corn, cotija and jalapeno ranch.

There's also the option to build-your own salad, flatbread or wrap from a dizzying array of options that includes half-a-dozen different choices of greens, "premium ingredients" (aka proteins) like herb-grilled chicken, marinated tofu, gyro meat, falafel or grilled shrimp, fruit, cheeses, herbs and crunchy bits. (There are also soups, including turkey chili, to fulfill the other half of the hallowed soup-and-salad duo, as well as pure cane sugar sodas from Dublin Bottling Works on tap.)

Crisp is open daily 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Scope out the menu — including the aforementioned 23 dressing options and clearly marked vegan, gluten-free and paleo options — right this way.
