Excellent news for the caffeine addicts of East Dallas: A coffee shop called Method: Caffeination & Fare is slated to open in early 2014 at the corner of Ross Avenue and Hall Street (right next to Joyce & Gigi's).
Owner Louie Corwin has plenty of local coffee experience, including stints at The Pearl Cup and Origin Natural Food; he tells blog Dallas Coffee Collective that Method will be featuring Espro French Press, Aero Press and Chemex brewing methods, plus a first-of-its-kind-in-Dallas Slayer espresso machine (which admittedly sounds pretty badass).
Method will primarily source its beans from Novel Coffee Roasters, a small local operation (if you've gotten coffee from The Alcove in State-Thomas, you may have tasted their wares). Corwin tells DCC he'll cater to fellow coffee nerds with an industry night and rotating "guest espressos," the likes of which many Dallas coffee drinkers have probably never tasted before.
