Permanent pop-up may seem like a bit of an oxymoron, but Trinity Groves is making it happen: Coming to the West Dallas development in May, Kitchen LTO will feature a different restaurant concept every three months with a new up-and-coming chef and interior designer. Via a press release, Trinity Groves backer/mega-restaurateur Phil Romano refers to LTO (which, naturally, stands for "limited time offer") as an "incubator within the incubator", which sounds a little Inception-y, but also like a great way to keep a non-stop influx of curious diners heading to the Groves to see what's new.
The press release calls for applications from creative chefs with at least five years' experience and "up & coming designers"; applicants must submit by February 27 to be considered for the first LTO rotation and will be judged by a selection panel to include such heavy-hitters as cocktail wizard Jason Kosmas, Bolsa partner Chris Zielke, chef/reality star Blythe Beck, and LTO creator Casie Caldwell, who founded salad chain Greenz.. The public will have the final say via social media voting.
