WEST VILLAGE—Not to be outdone by Fearing's, Max's Wine Dive in the West Village created this awesome sign heralding their executive chef Patrick Russell as the "2nd Hottest Chef in Dallas". (Russell, of course, came in as runner-up to Fearing's chef Eric Dreyer in February's "Hottest Chef in Dallas" voting.) It currently resides on the wall near the host stand. [Eaterwire]
FOOD TRUCK WIRE—Lauren Drewes Daniels checked out the new-ish Bombay Street Food truck and found a "delightful" bargain-priced lamb curry wrap, plus "fresh buttery paratha" that's made from scratch daily. [City of Ate]
