The 2013 James Beard Foundation nominees have been announced, and Dallas got snubbed in a big way. DFW had more than half a dozen representatives in the semifinalists including Teiichi Sakurai of Tei-An, Jason Maddy of Oak, Tim Love's Woodshed Smokehouse, and restaurateur Nick Badovinus, but all failed to make it to the final round.
