Dearly departed Sushiyama, the North Dallas sushi joint that closed down in December, will soon be brought back to life as Yama Sushi. Morning News critic Leslie Brenner reports that a long-time customer has leased the place and will "pre-open" this Thursday through Saturday, "with a grand opening to follow on Monday". The interior has gotten some updates but the menu (and the kitchen staff) will remain largely the same, with the addition of ramen (!). [Eats Blog]
