Lemon Bar Closes, Will Be Replaced By New Concept From Mico Rodriguez

Lemon Bar on Henderson Avenue is no more. The following statement was posted on the bar's Facebook page on Tuesday:

Hi friends,
**Important announcement** Our location is temporarily closed. Mico (the guy who opened all the delicious Mi Cocinas, Taco Diners, Mercury and Mr Mesero), will be starting a great new concept in our place in just a couple months. Stay tuned!

A subsequent comment by the bar says "Mico's group will open a new concept within the next 90 days."

Lemon Bar opened on Henderson Avenue just last summer after abandoning its former West Village digs; prior to that, the space was occupied by Alma, Tristan Simon's short lived modern Mexican concept.
