Jay Jerrier's upcoming New York-style pizza joint has found a home: CultureMap's Teresa Gubbins reports that Zoli's will take over the old BEE Enchiladeria space in Oak Cliff, near the Bishop Arts district. (Monica Greene's Chipotle-style enchilada spot shuttered around the first of the year.)
Zoli's NY Pizza Tavern will basically be the antithesis of the Neapolitan-style Cane Rosso — think New York-style and thick-crusted "Grandma" pies, chicken parmesan heros, garlic knots, and yes, ranch dressing. For a peek at some of the menu items diners can expect, head on over to Zoli's Facebook page.
Jerrier tells CultureMap he hopes to open Zoli's in May, following the debut of the Cane Rosso White Rock location, which he previously estimated would open sometime in April.
