Josh Sepkowitz and Kyle Noonan of Free Range Concepts (Bowl & Barrel, The Rustic, the new Sunset Lounge) are at it again: According to a press release, the duo's newest project is an "open-air restaurant with an adjacent dog park" in Uptown, on a patch of land that was formerly Hank Haney Golf Course.
The "modern day 'roadside' burger stand" will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week; a morning menu will feature breakfast tacos, pastries, and coffee, while lunch and dinner options will include burgers and dogs, frozen custard, and a full bar. Outdoor seating for 200 and the adjacent dog park "will provide Dallas diners with a great place to grab a bite or a cold drink" while hanging out with four-legged friends, says Noonan. (The private dog park will offer both one-time day passes and monthly memberships.)
Mutts is slated to hit Uptown in late May.
