The tiny town of West, Texas was rocked by a massive explosion at a fertilizer plant yesterday, killing more than a dozen people at current count and injuring hundreds more, plus demolishing many homes and businesses located nearby. (West of course has a special place in many DFW residents' hearts, as it's a tradition for many to make a pit stop in West for gas and kolaches on the route to Austin or Houston.)
