At long last, Henderson Avenue indie coffee shop The Pearl Cup has finally opened the doors to its first suburban location in Richardson's II Creeks development. The coffee house's Facebook page notes that this is a soft opening, meaning they've got a full drink menu but only limited food options for now.
The Pearl Cup's Henderson location has been a favorite haunt of Dallas caffeine fiends since its opening back in 2007; its best known menu item is perhaps the Pearl Latte, featuring a secret ingredient that may or may not be unicorn tears. A smaller Pearl Cup kiosk with limited weekday hours debuted in 2011 in a downtown office building at the corner of Ross Street and St. Paul Avenue.
