Not-So-Italian Food

sfuzzilogo150.jpgMorning News critic Leslie Brenner is none too amused by some of the menu selections at the city's "Italian" restaurants. Inspired by the newest New York Times restaurant review, she mentions Caesar and wedge salads, "tilapia puttanesca," and "pretzel bread with raspberry-chipotle jam" as just a few of the offending dishes being served. (That last dish hails from Sfuzzi, which despite describing itself as a "modern-rustic Italian restaurant," is perhaps more Jersey Shore than Tuscan trattoria.) [Eats Blog]
