Rudy's Chicken in South Dallas (home of the "chicken so good you'll slap yo mammas mama") is getting an $890,000 grant from the city. The money, part of a multi-million dollar allotment to create a new development called Lancaster Urban Village, is intended to build a new 1,625 square foot Rudy's with not one but two drive-throughs — all the better to get that fried chicken in your hands quickly.
