The very same folks who brought you the inaugural North Texas Taco Festival back in April are putting on a festival of a slightly different nature this fall: BurgerFest. Much like NTTF, the event will play host to dozens of different restaurants, but instead of tacos they'll be serving up "bite-size versions of some of North Texas' favorite patties" (maybe they should've called it SliderFest?).
Vendors will include Maple & Motor, Rodeo Goat, Ten Bells Tavern, and Whiskey Cake, plus many more to be announced; because man cannot live on burgers alone, there will also be dessert and ice cream vendors on hand, plus a beer garden, live music and "a VIP lounge."
BurgerFest will take place Saturday, September 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street in Deep Ellum, right alongside the usual Deep Ellum Outdoor Market (the Market is also a sponsor of the event, along with bloggers The Taco Trail and Entree Dallas).
