Deep Ellum Brewing Company Has a New Sign

This smiley with a beer in his mouth just erected over Deep Ellum Brewing Company is visible to drivers on nearby I-30, ensuring that commuters will find themselves fiending for local craft beer for many years to come. Just installed at the city's largest craft brewery, it spins to reveal a DEBC logo on the other side.

DEBC "brand ninja" Tait Lifto tells Escape Hatch they "will be doing a ceremonial lighting of the sign" during their Thursday brewery tour. The tour is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with plans to light the sign around 7:00.
