House 34 Will Serve Uptown from Breakfast to Late-Night

Here's a quick look at House 34, which soft-opened Tuesday in the old Patio Grill space on McKinney Avenue. They've classed up the interior with dark wood and leather barstools, and will be servicing Uptown with three squares a day (breakfast service begins Saturday) and a pretty sweet patio that will no doubt be packed with the city's see-and-be-seen crowd this summer. A major draw is late-night hours: House 34 is open until 3 a.m. on the weekends. Chef Andres Bautista hails from Al Biernat's; expect "upscale, trendy" American fare like omelets, pancakes, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, sea bass, lobster kebabs, and a full bar for all your boozing needs.
