Bastille on Bishop; Taste Some Very Expensive Wine

OAK CLIFF—Celebrate all things French this Sunday when Bastille Day celebrations take over the Bishop Arts district from 6-10 p.m. Expect wine, bicycles, Vespas, mimes, baguettes, mussels, and various other French-y things. [Official]

HENDERSON AVE—Wanna taste a $1,000 bottle of wine? Show up to Veritas Wine Bar tomorrow at 5 p.m. and taste that, as well as several other Burgundies, for the low low price of $30; find more info here. [Eaterwire]

RICHARDSON—Alamo Drafthouse isn't open for biz yet, but that's not stopping them from showing movies: Show up to their parking lot Saturday night at 6:30 to catch slacker classic Dazed and Confused along with food trucks, an outdoor bar with beer from Community Brewing, a mini pinball arcade, and a muscle car show. (Did we mention it's free?) [Facebook]
