Chip's Old Fashioned Hamburgers will open its new Lakewood location in mid-September. This is the first Chip's that has been built from the ground up instead of taking over an existing building, and will feature "a more cafe-style eating area with big windows, multiple TVs and a full bar," plus a separate dessert area where patrons can order milkshakes, pie and snow cones; a patio is also a possibility.
