The space on West Jefferson Boulevard vacated earlier this year by Cafe Maya will soon be home to The Fish. The new restaurant (no relation to the recently shuttered West Village sushi joint by the same name) is "a fast-casual seafood concept" brought to you by a former Dream Cafe employee that will offer dishes like fish tacos, fried catfish, oysters (when in season), and tasty-sounding crabmeat hush puppies; all sauces will be made in house.
