Praise the Thai Food Gods: Sakhuu Express is Open

The takeout/delivery offshoot of pint-sized East Dallas restaurant Sakhuu is now open on Lemmon Avenue near the Dallas North Tollway.

As the Observer's Scott Reitz points out, the menu at Sakhuu Express is an odd mashup of Thai and Chinese cuisines, with many of the same dishes from the original Sakhuu menu (curries, tom kha, pad thai, et al.) plus stuff like egg drop soup and lo mein.

They don't have a strictly defined delivery area, but if you live (or work) in Highland Park, Uptown, the Medical District, or Oak Lawn, you're probably in luck. The minimum order is $15 (which is easy to surpass with two orders of those killer stuffed chicken wings), plus there's a $2 charge for delivery.
