Mesero Miguel has a new projected opening date of September 16.
The newest project from Dallas restaurateur Mico Rodriguez (Taco Diner, Mi Cocina, et al) is taking over the Henderson Avenue space that was most recently occupied by a short-lived Lemon Bar (and before that, Alma and Cuba Libre).
An earlier press release promised "an American grill with a Mexican menu" and a 1960's "Palm Springs" vibe, plus an upstairs bar called The Pedro. Here's a look at the just-released menu, which offers everything from mini lobster rolls and brisket nachos to Tex-Mex combination plates and twists on classic Spanish tapas like potatoes bravas, plus plenty of beef in the form of dry-aged steaks, carne asada and a Wagyu burger.
