While it may be a little difficult to look forward to autumn when it's still 100 degrees outside, there's certainly plenty to look forward to this year when it comes to restaurant and bar openings. Much like last year, this fall is shaping up to be action-packed, with an impressive slew of debuts at mega-development Trinity Groves, the long-awaited debut of the city's first ramen shop, new dining options at urban oasis Klyde Warren Park, and so, so much more.
Here, in alphabetical order, are 25 of the most anticipated openings to look forward to this fall:
1) Alligator Cafe
Location: Deep Ellum
Description: The long-time Cajun favorite (which moved from Live Oak to Casa Linda last year) is opening an additional location in the former Rosemont space on Elm Street.

2) Bowen House
Location: Uptown
Description: The same guy that brought you the Kennedy Room earlier this year is turning one-time vintage clothing wonderland Ahab Bowen into a pharmacy-themed "1800's-style saloon" with vintage cocktails and bar bites.

3) Cane Rosso Fort Worth
Location: West Magnolia Avenue
Description: Cowtown will get its very own Cane Rosso soon. Owner Jay Jerrier has signed a lease on the old Ryan's Fine Grocer space and plans to start work on it immediately.

4) Casa Rubia
Location: Trinity Groves
Description: Spanish and Catalan-inspired tapas from Driftwood chef Omar Flores and owner Jonn Baudoin.

5) CBD Provisions
Location: The Joule Hotel
Description: American comfort food with a local/seasonal slant from the Consilient restaurant group (Hibiscus, Victor Tangos, et al); will serve three meals a day plus Sunday brunch and feature craft cocktails designed by bartenders Chad Solomon and Christy Pope.

6) Chino Chinatown
Location: Trinity Groves
Description: Chinese-Latin fusion fare and craft cocktails from local caterer/former The Taste contestant Uno Immanivong and business partner Adrian Verdin.

7) Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar
Location: Uptown
Description: New casual concept from Del Frisco's co-founder/Bubble Bar owner is taking over the old JoJo space.

8) Gemma
Location: Henderson Avenue
Description: Husband and wife duo Allison Yoder and Stephen Rogers, formerly of Press in Napa Valley, are opening a restaurant in the same shopping center as Veritas.

9) Genaro's Mexican Cuisine
Location: Lakewood
Description: Restaurateur Genaro Silva of the eighties/nineties hot spot Genaro's Tropical returns with a new venture that promises "Mix-Mex" cuisine utilizing sustainable seafood, organic beef and local produce.
Opening Date: late August or September
10) Green House Market
Location: North Park Center
Description: One of the city's first food trucks is expanding with a counter-service location at North Park that will feature an expanded menu of the same healthy fare that the truck is known for, plus a juice bar and Blue Bottle coffee.
Opening Date: November 1
11) Kitchen LTO
Location: Trinity Groves
Description: 'Permanent pop-up' from Greenz founder Casie Caldwell that will rotate chefs and concepts on a quarterly basis; the first chef at bat will be Norman Grimm (formerly of Acme F&B) with design by Coeval Studio.
Opening Date: September
12) LUCK (Local Urban Craft Kitchen)
Location: Trinity Groves
Description: Casual, craft beer-centric neighborhood spot from partners Jeff Dietzman, Ned Steel and Daniel Pittman.

13) Luscher's
Location: Gaston Avenue near Baylor
Description: The Grape chef Brian Luscher is also hard at work on his own new project, which he tells CultureMap will feature his line of hot dogs and sausages, Post Oak Red Hots.
Opening Date: End of summer or fall
14) Mesero Miguel
Location: Henderson Avenue
Description: New concept from restaurateur Mico Rodriguez going into the old Cuba Libre/Alma/Lemon Bar space promises a 60's "Palm Springs vibe" and a menu put together with the help of chef Jon Stevens (formerly of Nosh) that ranges from tacos to steak.

15) Mirth & Refuge
Location: The Joule Hotel
Description: The posh downtown hotel continues its expansion plans with a "luxurious subterranean drinking establishment" from Consilient that will feature, much like CBD Provisions, craft cocktails by bartenders Chad Solomon and Christy Pope and upscale bar food.
Opening Date: Fall
16) Off-Site Kitchen
Location: Trinity Groves
Description: The Design District's lunch hot spot from Nick Badovinus is opening another location at Trinity Groves with more seating, more parking and better air-conditioning. Badovinus has hinted that the original location may be transformed into a new concept, but nothing concrete has been announced.

17) Relish
Location: Klyde Warren Park
Description: The burger-centric food truck that's been a regular at the park since fall 2012 is turning into a grab-and-go kiosk with an expanded menu.

18) Resto Gastro Bistro
Location: Trinity Groves
Description: Casual neighborhood bistro with French, Asian and American influences from chef DJ Quintanilla (Abacus, Jasper's, Bijoux) and NYLO food and beverage director Linda Mazzei.

19) The Rustic
Location: Uptown (corner of Lemmon Avenue and North Central Expressway)
Description: The newest project from Josh Sepkowitz and Kyle Noonan of FreeRange Concepts (Bowl & Barrel, Sunset Lounge, Mutts) is a live music venue/bar/restaurant in conjunction with musician Pat Green that promises a massive backyard/patio and "the largest selection of Texas beers found anywhere."

20) Savor
Location: Klyde Warren Park
Description: "Polished casual" gastropub from chef John Coleman with small plates, beer and wine on tap from a keg wall, and panoramic views of K.W. Park thanks to all-glass walls.

Description: Middle Eastern restaurant/market from restaurateur Yaser Khalaf (Baboush, Ketchup Burger Bar).

22) Tanoshii Ramen
Location: Deep Ellum
Description: After months of delays, this ramen shop from Chi and Joey Le (Wicked Po Boys) is projected to finally open this fall promising handmade noodles, Asian street food and late-night hours.

23) Taverna Rossa
Location: Plano
Description: Spin-off of McKinney's Cadillac Pizza Pub from restaurateur Preston Lancaster and partners Jimmy Cannon and Tony Smith, with menu designed with assistance from The Grape chef Brian Luscher that will include stone-fired pizzas and lots of craft beer and cocktails, plus a huge outdoor patio with indoor/outdoor bar and frequent live music.

Location: Highland Park Village
Description: The upstairs portion of the former Village Marquee will soon serve sushi and "hipster Asian food" including ramen from chef Andre Natera and sushi chef Daniel Chau (formerly of Steel).

Location: Lower Greenville
Description: The highly anticipated food truck park masterminded by Twisted Root's Jason Boso will include a Philly cheesesteak spot called Steak Me Home tonight, a Carnival Barker's ice cream stand, a treehouse bar and more.
