The original Mi Piaci is still closed after an apparent rent dispute, but the new Preston Center location is now open for biz in the space formerly occupied by the short-lived Ocho Kitchen & Cocktails (restaurateur Brian Black is behind both restaurants).

The menu appears to be the same as the Addison location, with Italian classics like beef carpaccio, Caprese salad, risotto, and housemade pastas; chef Elmer Pineda and the rest of the staff have made the move over to the new space, too.

The upstairs bar, formerly the tequila-centric 8Bar, is now Enoteca Wine Bar, offering plenty of wine by the glass and bottle, plus specialty cocktails like bellinis, blood orange Negronis and Italian mojitos.

Mi Piaci at Preston Center is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner Sunday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. (1 a.m. on the weekends). The upstairs bar opens daily at 4 p.m.
