Feel that ever-so-slight chill in the air? Clearly that means it's time to do away with watermelon salads and gazpacho and begin feasting on Brussels sprouts, apples, and other seasonally appropriate items. Yes, it's time for restaurants across the city to roll out their fall menus.
Here's a look at the new menu from Driftwood chef Omar Flores, who along with owner Jonn Baudoin is of course hard at work preparing his new Trinity Groves restaurant Casa Rubia for its public debut later this month. (Driftwood staples like the rather summery lobster roll and the chargrilled octopus remain untouched.)
Besides the regular menu, Flores is also offering a three-course menu for $35 on Tuesdays (only for the non-picky diners, though — the menu politely requests "no substitutions").
