chefdat150.jpgHe of underground dinner fame Chef DAT has plans to open a fast-casual spot called Geaux in Lakewood. He describes it to Carol Shih as a place "where you can have po' boys and gumbo every day of the week," and says the sandwiches will be "100% traditional" with bread shipped in from New Orleans. Nothing is set in stone just yet but DAT says he's "close to signing a lease." [SideDish]
