Foreign & Domestic Bake Sale; Chinese New Year Dinner

PARK CITIES—Empire Baking Company will host its first-ever celebrity pastry chef bake sale benefitting at-risk kids on Saturday, February 8, 2014, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (or till sold out). The featured pastry chef will be Jodi Elliott of Austin's Foreign & Domestic, who was recently named Best Pastry Chef Central Region by Food & Wine. Expect everything from banana cream pie and chocolate trifle to gruyere and bacon croissants and tomato mushroom tarte tatin.
